The Rebels Varsity Athletics program marks the return of competitive sports to Red River College Polytechnic—built by students, for students. Driven by student demand and supported by the Students’ Association, the Rebels are creating a new kind of athletics program focused on accessibility, inclusion, and school pride.
This is more than just teams and competition. The Rebels are about building a culture on campus—one where students come together, support each other, and take pride in representing RRC Polytech. From basketball and volleyball to cross country and beyond, this program is designed to grow with the student body.
As we prepare for our return to the MCAC in the 2026–2027 season, this page—and the program itself—is a work in progress. We are actively building teams, finalizing facilities, securing partnerships, and shaping the full Rebels experience.
